2 schools and 3 kindergartens will be built in the Sovetsky district of Kazan in 2020

Last year, the population of the district swelled by 7.7 thousand people.

In 2019, 75 apartment buildings were overhauled in the Sovetsky district of Kazan, 325 entrance halls and 30 roads were renovated with a total area of 500 thousand sq.m., 49 yards were improved and 27 trash enclosures were built for separate waste collection. This was reported to the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin by Roman Fatkhutdinov, the head of the Sovetsky district administration, during the report on the results of the year.

The head of the administration noted that in 2019, the population of the Sovetsky district swelled by 7.7 thousand people. 28 apartment buildings and 175 individual houses were put into operation on the territory of the district. Presently, 63 housing projects are being built, of which 33 apartment buildings will be put into the operation this year.

Due to the increased population, two schools are under construction in the district (on Nazib Zhiganov street for 1224 places and in the residential complex ART City for 1501 places) and three kindergartens (for 680 places in the residential complex Svetlaya Dolina, residential complexes Moi Ritm and Vesna-2).

Extensive overhaul works were done in 75 apartment buildings for a total of 425 million rubles. In total, to date, almost 60% of the houses in need of repair have been overhauled in the district.

The improvement of building surrounding grounds continued- last year, 14 play playgrounds were equipped in the yards, 153 playing blocks and 47 sports units were installed. A comprehensive renovation of two yards was also carried out.

To ensure security, last year, the installation of the “Smart intercom” system began in the houses, which can be used on phone, and access to the entrance is carried out using face-id technology (face recognition of the owner). According to R.Fatkhutdinov, in February 2020, the system will fully cover the houses of the Azino-1 Property management company, this year “Smart intercoms” will also be installed in the homes of some other management companies.

27 trash enclosures for separate waste collection were built in the Sovetsky district. To complete the transition, another 349 sites need to be renovated, 203 of which are part of the national program “Our yard”.

A remarkable event in the district last year was the completion of the reconstruction of the Saidash cultural center, now another cultural center named after Said- Galiyev is being overhauled.

The head of the district noted that there is a negative issue – absence of any cultural center in Azino and said that the design of a cultural center is currently underway, which is planned to be located near Prospect Pobedu str.,172.

Another important issue was the renovation of the territory of the Birch wood and lake Komsomolskoye in the district of Derbyshki – a favorite recreation zone for locals. This year, it is planned to renovate four more parks and squares.

According to R.Fatkhutdinov, there are 38 schools, 17 supplementary education facilities and 89 municipal pre-schools in the district. Last year, a multi-disciplinary lyceum №185 and an additional building of gymnasium № 93 were opened. In addition, 8 school canteens and 4 sports halls were renovated.

Last year, 4 kindergartens for 990 children were opened in the district. Besides, major overhauls were completed in five kindergartens for 575 places.

R.Fatkhutdinov also reported on the growth of the main economic indicators – the volume of shipped goods (goods were shipped for 45.7 billion rubles) and fixed investments (36.2 billion rubles of investments were invited), as well as a reduction of unemployment (the unemployment rate is 0.5%).

Speaking about the plans for 2020, the head of the district administration noted that the renovation of socially important facilities will continue. So, 31 roads with an area of 500 thousand square meters, 3 kindergartens with 330 places, 83 yards, 81 apartment buildings will be repaired.
