(KZN.RU, March 18, Alina Berezhnaya). From March 25, spring holidays will begin for schoolchildren of Kazan that will last until March 31. During this period, 7 thousand Kazan schoolchildren will spend time in school camps, which are based on 152 schools. Ilnar Khidiyatov, the head of the Department of Education, spoke about this today at the Business Monday.
I. Khidiyatov said that the cost of the voucher to the school camp is 1150 rubles, while parents will have to pay 172 rubles (14% of the total cost).
During vacation time, a single urban training and cognitive shift “IQ League” will operate for the fifth year in a row, where gifted children will be given various classes.
A large number of activities during the holidays are timed to coincide with the Year of the Theater, the Year of the Working Professions, the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the TASSR and the Victory Day.
According to the head of the Directorate, additional education institutions will work in a regular mode during the holidays. Events for schoolchildren will be held there as part of the urban multi-project “Educating a young Kazan citizen”. More than 3 thousand schoolchildren will take part in the preparations for the urban choral festival, which will be held on the eve of Victory Day.
Also, the holidays will be a time to prepare the participants of the All-Russian military-patriotic movement “Yunarmiya” for the solemn march-parade of the Kazan garrison, dedicated to the 74th anniversary of the Great Victory.
During the holidays, the children together with the teachers will visit museums, exhibitions, performances, and more than 1000 students will go on organized tourist trips with their teachers in the framework of the partnership projects “Cultural Holidays”.
“We are confident that properly organized recreation will allow children to spend their holidays with benefit, to maintain health and gain strength for the study and passing the final examinations”, said I. Khidiyatov.
