Weekend in Kazan: a race for lovers, street photo sessions, and Georgian lessons

(KZN.RU, February 15). Working week has come to an end, which means it's time to plan your weekend. In the coming weekend, many different events will take place in Kazan, which will give the residents and visitors of the city positive emotions. Saturday day can be started with a race for lovers, continued with a walk and free street photo shoots. On Sunday, we recommend attending training in Nordic walking or the lesson of the Georgian language.

“Red Bull – Helmet and Gloves”

February 16 at 8 am

The “Red Bull – Helmet and Gloves” event will be held at the stadium “Trudovye Reservy”. This is a series of four-by-four hockey competitions that are held on the open ice and allow hockey players to demonstrate their skills.

Race for lovers

February 16 at 9 am

The race for lovers Loverun for 1.5 or 10 km will take place in Uritsky Park. At the finish, runners will receive medals, and those who wish can publicly confess their love. Participation in the race is paid, registration is required.

Free Nordic Walking Workouts

Free workouts in Nordic walking will take place in parks “Krylya Sovetov” and “Komsomolets”. Classes are suitable for both beginners and experienced athletes. Training will be conducted under the guidance of an instructor, so participants will be able to improve their walking technique. You must take walking sticks with you. Free photo shoots

February 16 at 11 am and at 1 pm

On the Belye Tsvety Boulevard and Fucik Street, couples can take part in free photo shoots. The number of places is limited, preliminary registration on the link.

Each couple is given no more than 10 minutes for taking photos. Photo shoots on the Belye Tsvety Boulevard will be held fr om 11 am to 12.30 pm, on Fucik Street – from 1 pm to 2.30 pm.

Book-crossing

February 16 at 12 pm

On February 16 from 12 pm to 3 pm, Kazan citizens can bring books to the charitable store “Ecological”, and exchange them for whatever they like at no cost.

Love Stories in the Russian Empire

February 16 at 3 pm

The historical park “Russia is My History” will host an excursion wh ere you can get acquainted with the most vivid stories of true love in the Russian Empire. Guests will find confirmation that love can survive despite social status, prejudice, gossip, distance, and death. After the excursion, everyone will be able to write a love letter to his soulmate with real quill and ink.

Free workouts on Nordic walking will take place in the Sosnovaya Roscha Park and the Gorkinsko-Ometievsky forest. A free open lesson of the Georgian language will take place in the house of Friendship of the Peoples of Tatarstan for everyone.

Charity match of the players of the Night Hockey League and “Ak Bars”

February 17 at 12.45 pm

Players of the Night Hockey League and “Ak Bars” will hold a charity match with the beneficiaries of the foundation “Day of Good Deeds”. Disabled children with physical disabilities will come on the ice of the “Tatneft-Arena” along with professional athletes.

Each child who is forced to travel in a special wheelchair will have a reliable navigator from the “40+” and “18+” divisions of the Tatarstan Night League Championship and “Ak Bars” hockey players. The child and the athlete will become a single play unit.

“Factory of Love”

February 16 and 17 from 12 pm

Cupids will meet guests on the Kremlin Embankment this weekend. The factory has several interesting zones with fascinating master classes, a post office wh ere you can send a valentine to your loved ones in every corner of the Earth, an interactive quest based on the famous Harry Potter books “The Power of Love”.

In addition, citizens will be able to watch movies about love, “get married” and get a joke certificate of marriage registration.
