(KZN.RU, March 29). Teacher of biology of Kazan boarding school № 2 Nail’ Mirsaitov and pupil of 9B class Rafkat Kireev will take part in the international project “Olympiad Genius”. It will be held June 11-16 in the city of Oswego, New York, USA.
The research project "Aeropalynologic Monitoring of Dusting Plants and Fungi in Kazan City" (direction "Natural Sciences") by Nail’ Mirsaitov and Rafkat Kireyeva became the only one in Russia that passed through a serious competitive selection.
About 150 projects will take part in five directions: “Business”, “Robotics”, “Natural Sciences”, “Art” and “Creative Letter”.
The “Genius” olympics provides an opportunity for high-school students around the world to solve actual environmental issues; contribute to the protection and improvement of the environment. Among the tasks is organization of a worldwide youth forum for the exchanging experience and ideas and informing people about global environmental problems.
