Students of the IT-School of the KFU became laureates of the Robotics Competition “Agrorobofestival”

One of the winners of the contest was the project “Hand of Help” by a pupil of the 9th grade Ildan Petrov.

(KZN.RU, September 4). Students of IT-School of the KFU became laureates of the All-Russian Robotics Competition “Agrorobofestival”. It was held in the children's techno-park “Kvantorium” in Almetyevsk in the framework of the VI All-Russian Conference of Youth Innovation Creativity Centers.

Young engineers and inventors up to the age of 18 presented innovative developments in the automation and robotization of the agro-industrial complex in five areas: Smart Greenhouse, Smart Farm, Smart Beds, Agro-robot, and Quadcopter.

One of the winners of the contest was the project “Hand of Help” by a pupil of the 9th grade Ildan Petrov. The project is based on the automation of lifting equipment. The developed robot-manipulator conducts sorting of containers, defining the necessary zone on the color marking put on the object.

In addition, the pupils of the 10th grade Artur Eremov and Vladimir Nazarov with the project “Grasser” became laureates of the contest. The idea of the project is to check the level of soil acidity by one robot and neutralize acid sites by a second one. The survey of the land plot is provided by a quadcopter and cameras with computer vision technology, according to the website of the Ministry of Information and Communication of the RT.
