The participants of the international patriotic rally “From common Victory to common peace” arrived in Kazan today. They unfurled a 200 sq.m. duplicate of the Victory banner and the St. George’s ribbon 300 meters long at the memorial complex of the Victory park.

The patriotic rally started in Vladivostok on June 22 – the anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. For almost a month, the participants of the event passed more than 8 thousand kilometers. The column was led by the legendary GAZ M-20 Pobeda car.

The participants of the rally have a copy of Our lady of Kazan, which will later be transferred to the Holy Resurrection Church – the main Church of the Russia’s Armed Forces.

The rally participants together with representatives of the Tatarstan paratroopers Union and Young Army unfurled a large-scale duplicate of the Victory banner and the St. George’s ribbon.

Tomorrow, the rally participants will arrive in Arzamas. The final point in their route will be Moscow, where the legendary Pobeda will arrive on September 3. On this day, a round table will be held with the participation of representatives of seven countries.
