Branches of polyclinics serving children and adults will open for residents of the Solnechny Gorod district

Medical facilities will serve about 8,000 adults and more than 7,000 children.

Branches of two polyclinics serving adults and children will open in the Privolzhsky district of Kazan until the end of 2021. “It is important that the buildings will be commissioned promptly. We need to organize the work so that the constructors complete their work, and the specialists immediately start their own. Then we will definitely be able to meet the expectations of local residents”, - said Rustem Gafarov, head of the Executive Committee of Kazan, during a visit to the medical institutions.

The branch of the municipal polyclinic No.18 will be located on G. Akhunova str., 16a. According to the chief doctor Rezida Mansurova, a polyclinic in this district is urgently needed. It is planned that more than 8,000 people will be served here.

According to R.Mansurova, the building will consist of two therapeutic offices, a filter room, ECG, ultrasound, dentist's offices, a treatment room and a vaccination room.

“We think that as soon as the facility will be commissioned, we will be able to start working in a short time, and only then gradually replenish it with everything necessary”, - the chief doctor shared her plans.

The facility is planned to be commissioned at the same time with the branch of the children's polyclinic No.11, which will open on B. Urmanche str., 5. It will serve more than 7,200 patients under the age of 18. Not only to residents of the Solnechny Gorod district will be served here, but also children of other nearby residential complexes – Lesnoy Gorodok and Solovyinye Roshchi.

According to the chief doctor of the children's polyclinic No.11, Anzhelika Brigadnova, 3 pediatric offices, a vaccination and treatment room, a filter room will work in the new polyclinic.

R.Gafarov proposed to create a playroom for children in the polyclinic. “Let's try to use children's training equipment that can be attached to the wall. This does not require a separate room, but this way the child can play while waiting”, - the head of the Executive Committee noted.

Representatives of the initiative group of residents of the district have already visited the medical institutions before the opening. Kazan residents were satisfied with the projects of the future health centers.
