The Good Kazan opens its own coworking with a call center and a conference hall on Sechenov Street. The workspace brings together representatives of more than 100 charitable communities. Today, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin visited the coworking and congratulated the director of the ANO “Good Kazan” Tatiana Merzlyakova and other charity workers on the opening of a new workspace.
The decision to allocate ANO “Good Kazan” new premises on 5 Sechenov St. was made in October 2021. This year, the renovation was carried out there.
The coworking occupies an area of 506 sq.m. where the Good Kazan and charitable foundations will hold master classes, seminars, meetings and other events. According to Tatiana Merzlyakova, 21 organizations have already registered to work in the coworking. Mothers of children with disabilities can also work in the coworking every day, tutors and volunteers will provide assistance to them.
The new space meets the principles of an accessible environment, so people with disabilities can visit the coworking.
Along the interior work, the landscaping of the adjacent territory was carried out under the Our Yard program.
Together with Tatiana Merzlyakova, Tatarstan President and the Mayor of the city looked around the coworking area, visited the offices and a call center, appreciated their convenience and equipment. Here they acquainted with philanthropists, volunteers and call center workers. Presently, the ANO Archideti, the DonorSearch, the Angel of Faith project, the psychological assistance office, the Foundation for Diabetes Assistance and others have registered for three months in the coworking.
“All the rooms are modern, cozy and most importantly functional. Thank you for your activity and your assistance”, - Rustam Minnikhanov said. “Now Good Kazan has everything for efficient work”, - Ilsur Metshin added.
The activities of the Good Kazan were presented to the visitors in the conference hall. Seven important projects are being implemented under the auspices of the autonomous non-profit organization – such as forums and training of volunteers. During the presentation, Rustam Minnikhanov and Ilsur Metshin were informed about the Good Sport program, in which more than 3,000 children with disabilities train at 13 sports venues of the city, about the Affordable Kazan telegram bot, the work of the Path to Life training apartment, the construction of the Yardem sports center and other inclusive urban projects. At the end of the presentation, Rustam Minnikhanov presented Tatiana Merzlyakova with a certificate for a Lada Largus car for the transportation of disabled persons.
The Good Kazan project has been implemented since 2016 on the initiative of the Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin. It brings together charitable foundations, socially oriented companies, the executive branch and the media.
