<p> (KZN.RU, February 19). The first meeting of the Presidium of the Investment Council of the RT took place today under the chairmanship of Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the RT. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, took part in the event in the representative building of the Kazan Kremlin. </p> <p> “Today, conditions for the economic development of the territories have been created in the region”, said the head of the Republic, announcing the main socio-economic indicators of 2017. According to him, the new territories of advanced social and economic development in Zelenodolsk, Nizhnekamsk, and Chistopol open great prospects for the implementation of investment projects. </p> <p>   he participants of the meeting were presented 3 projects for discussion: the creation of an independent foreign investment holding, the launch of production of elevator and trawl equipment in Zelenodolsk, and the construction of the ferry crossing Syukeyevsky import - Bolgar, reports the press service of the President of the RT. </p> <p> Albert Karimov, the deputy prime minister of the RT and the minister of Industry and Trade of the RT, Airat Sibagatullin, the minister of Culture of the RT, Irek Faizullin, the minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the RT, Taliya Minullina, the head of the Agency for Investment Development of the RT, Sergey Ivanov, Chairman of the State Committee of the RT for tourism, Timur Nagumanov, the Representative under the President of the RT for the protection of entrepreneurs' rights, and others also took part in the event. </p>
