Tatarstan explores innovative experience of the Kingdom of the Netherlands

The delegation of the RT visited Philips Healthcare Innovative centre and High Tech Campus.

(KZN.RU, April 2). Today the delegation of the RT headed by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the republic, is visiting the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Roman Shajkhutdinov, the deputy of the Prime Minister of the RT, the minister of the computerisation and communication of the RT, Taliya Minullina, the head of the Agency for Investment Development of the RT, and others took part in the meeting.

The delegation of the RT visited Philips Healthcare Innovative centre in Best. It is the presentation site of high-technology innovations. Here they focus on healthy lifestyle, increase life expectancy, collect information on the health of people, data processing. Today more than 3 thousand persons work with the centre, annually showroom of the centre receives more than 10 thousand guests. The specific attention in the company is paid to researches of cancer.

R.Minnikhanov reminded that in Russia some national projects were created to increase of life expectancy and improvement of life quality. The President of the RТ noted as well that the republic had a relationship with Philips company. According to him, this interaction will be continued.

During the meeting they discussed the prospects of realizing the projects in health, including on service of Philips equipment. Rustam Minnikhanov offered to create working group for detailed discuss business affairs, including the bankability of projects in renovation of company equipment and purchase of new Philips equipment. It is expected that in a month the members of working group will again discuss the projects.

Then the President of theRT visited High Tech Campus. Here he got acquainted with one of the campus residents - Signify company - the world's leader in solutions, systems and services for LED lighting. The company sells both professional, and consumer devices and illuminate urban spaces, offices, stadiums, buildings, shopping centres and houses. Products, systems and company services assist customers to use energy as effectively as possible, to optimise work and to give new solutions and services.

Rustam Minnikhanov met with representatives of the company, and he was presented the concept of unified illuminate environment in Kazan. The project will go a way in harmonising of urban lighting. It would be the buildings and the most interesting objects of the city.

According to the opinion of Rustam Minnikhanov, the project is interesting to Kazan, particularly within the preparation and celebrating of the 100-anniversary of the TASSR.

Then Rustam Minnikhanov met with Maarten Kamps, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Economics of the Netherlands, and then R.Minnikhanov participated in a round table with business representatives. Rustam Minnikhanov declared that Tatarstan was interested in attracting capital to region and he was glad to mutually beneficial relationships.

The Kingdom of the Netherlands is one of leading foreign partners of Tatarstan. So, according to the results of the previous year, trade exchange with the Netherlands grew to a third and accounted for about 2,8 bn dollars. The companies of Tatarstan and the Netherlands are working together in petroleum production and petrochemistry.

During the visit, the President of the RT will visit automobile campus, where he will be acquainted with activity of Traffic Innovation Center company.
