Over 1,400 tons of humanitarian cargo were shipped from Kazan to residents of Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye

The Charitable Foundation of Nefis Cosmetics has collected more than 50 tons of food packages and household chemicals for military families

More than 1,400 tons of humanitarian cargo were collected in Kazan for the cities of Lisichansk and Rubezhny, supported by Tatarstan. Both businesses and citizens brought goods to the collection points. This was announced at the Business Monday meeting by the head of the Department of Social Policy Irina Smirnova.

“We are conducting a work on collecting humanitarian aid for the supported Lisichansk, - said Mayor Ilsur Metshin. – I am in touch with Yevgeny Varakin [Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan] and our colleagues. Since the beginning of the year, two convoys have been sent on request. Humanitarian aid collection points continue to operate. What is important: our citizens, businesses, large and small, private entrepreneurs, help out as they can. And we will definitely continue this work and provide everything necessary.”

Another humanitarian cargo was sent from Kazan in March. 30 tons of aid were collected for residents of Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye: food, household chemicals, medicines, building materials and more.
