Dr. Sh. Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan visits the Kazan Helicopter Plant and the island-city of Sviyazhsk

The honored guest was accompanied by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin

During his visit to the capital of Tatarstan, His Highness, Dr. Sh. Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, paid a visit to the Kazan Helicopter Plant.

At the Kazan Helicopter Plant, His Highness got acquainted with the main production facilities of the company. The guests toured the assembly plant, helicopter paint shop, and final assembly workshop. They were presented with Mi-38 and Mi-8 MTV-1 helicopters equipped with comfortable cabins. The guests also looked round Ansat helicopters in medical and police configurations.

During the tour, guests were keen on the innovative solutions and technologies used at the Kazan Helicopter Plant.

The guests also visited the Island Sviyazhsk, where they saw some iconic sites, such as the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Monastery, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. They also visited the Museum of the History of Sviyazhsk. The delegation had an opportunity to see the scale of work done to revitalize Sviyazhsk, which has become one of the most important tourist and spiritual centers in Tatarstan.

Dr. Sh. Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan came to Kazan at the invitation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
