The Student Victory March will be held in Kazan on April 30

<p> (KZN.RU, April 10). Students and teachers of Kazan Federal University will hold a Victory March on April 30 at Kremlevskaya Street in Kazan. The action is timed to the celebration of the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. More than 5 thousand people will take part in the march. </p> <p> The event will begin on the square in front of the Kazan Kremlin, where flowers will be laid at the monument to the poet-hero Musa Jalil. Participants of the honorary procession will be students, teachers and graduates of the university, the honorary battalion of the KFU, the combined platoon of representatives of federal universities, the Immortal Regiment of the KFU. As a single unit, they will pass along Kremlevskaya Street from the monument to Musa Jalil to the main building of the KFU. </p> <p> For the first time, women will put on a military uniform this year. For this, they had to pass a serious selection. A little more than 60 out of the 200 girls were selected. Preference was given to representatives of the fair sex who have experience of participating in military sports events and are familiar with the drill. Military machinery and three retro cars will also pass in the parade. </p> <p> Students, graduate students, teachers, staff and graduates of the university will meet the marchers on the square in front of the university. There will be a meeting of the university community, dedicated to the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. </p> <p> At the end of the event, flowers will be laid to a memorial plaque installed in the yard of the main building of the university with the names of representatives of Kazan University who gave their lives for their Motherland a.
