Building on the. Patrice Lumumba str. was built in 1954.
(KZN.RU, March 26). The Kazan’s old airport, which was built in 1954, became the object of cultural heritage. The building at Patrice Lumumba str. 47A was listed in the special register as an object of local cultural heritage by the order of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Ayrat Sibagatullin.
The building, more known to the townspeople of Kazan as an “old airport”, is attributed to monuments of architecture and town planning. It was built in 1954 by the architect N. Makaren’. From now on, not only the roof of the building, facades and walls, the adjoining territory, but also interiors, including authentic lighting, preserved wall paintings and column decoration using the unique technology of that time for artificial marble are under protection.
On the territory of the cultural object the construction of capital facilities, kiosks, pavilions, canopies, and on the facades and roof of the building - air conditioners, is prohibited. At the same time, it is possible to conduct economic activity here, but without going beyond a certain list of permissions. For example, businessmen can open here a health care institution, a hotel, a store, educational and other institutions.
