Mayors, architects, urbanists and foreign specialists will take part in the forum
The Kazanysh International Architecture and Construction Forum will take place in Kazan on 5-7 December, preceding the BRICS Summit in Kazan in October 2024. The urban forum will be attended by foreign delegates, including mayors, architects, urbanists and other international experts. In particular, more than 150 speakers from Russia are expected, as well as experts from China, Iran, India, and the UAE, as well as representatives of Qatar and Italy. More than 5,000 participants are expected at the forum. The main topic is Reflection of Identity, which will be revealed in main key tracks.
The program includes discussions and presentations of international cases related to strategies for the development of cities and the preservation of their unique code, attracting creative staff, the impact of large transport projects on the development of regions, the development of natural territories and redevelopment of industrial buildings and zones, and much more.
The capital of Tatarstan is a place where western and eastern cultures meet. Its unique cultural code and centuries-old traditions are manifested in all spheres of city life. Therefore, it is quite logical that Kazan will become a platform for the exchange of unique experiences from different countries and cities. The program of the forum is designed in such a way that its participants, foreign guests from BRICS states and specialists from all over Russia, could learn from experience and share their own best practices. The organizing committee of the international forum shares: “An impressive solutions will be presented which provide developing of the cities and modern projects”.
Among the foreign speakers of the forum are the head of the Department of Natural Resources and Planning of the city of Qingdao (China) Liu Hengliang, Director of the Architectural Construction and Research Institute at Harbin Institute of Technology (China) Chen Jianfei, a specialist in sustainable development in architecture and urban planning Alrauf Ali from Qatar, head of the international bureau CLOU architects Lin Li (China) and others.
