(KZN.RU, July 4, Alina Berezhnaya). Passengers of public transport who have been incorrectly charged on July 3 when paying the fare by a bank card will be fully refunded within ten days. Ramil Yakupov, the deputy general director of OAO “Transport Card”, announced this.
“We apologize. All the problems will be fixed. We have already discussed it with banks, and the refund will occur within 6-10 days. The failure happened due to the human factor”, said R. Yakupov.
Anyone who has faced a problem when paying for travel must write a statement about the return of funds in work with the population points of OAO “Transport Card” at the following addresses: Nekrasov Street, №24 and Chuykov Street, №1a. Since July 1, the function of bank card payment was introduced on all types of transport in Kazan. The daily passenger traffic in the public transport of Kazan is about 600 thousand people; 36 thousand of them pay for travel by non-cash.
