Svetlana Lipatova became the best in the weight category up to 59 kg
Kazan athlete Svetlana Lipatova won the 52nd International Grand Prix Freestyle Wrestling Championships for the prizes of three-time Olympic champion Alexander Medved in Minsk.
According to the Press Office of the Tatarstan Ministry of Sports, the representative of the Ak Bars sports school became the best in the weight category up to 59 kg.
In total, more than 200 freestyle wrestlers from Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, North Macedonia, Uzbekistan and others competed at the championships. Twenty sets of medals were awarded among men and women.
In August, Svetlana Lipatova won the international wrestling tournament in Romania. She took first place in the weight category up to 59 kg as part of the Russian national team.
