<p> (KZN.RU, May 18, Ekaterina Vislavskaya). Guests of the World Cup-2018 will test a dual waste collection system in Kazan. Special containers for recyclable and other types of garbage will be located on the territory of the “last mile” at the stadium “Kazan Arena”. </p> <p> </p> <p> The organization of a separate waste collection system is a recommendation of the FIFA. There are two types of closed containers in Kazan. Yellow ones are designed for aluminum cans, paper, cardboard, and plastic bottles, and green ones are for food waste, disposable tableware, tea bags, napkins, packaging, and glass. In total, 64 containers will be installed, 32 for each of the two categories. </p> <p> </p> <p> They will be near the stadium only in the days of matches and will be put there on the eve of the first match. On June 16, the French team will meet with the team of Australia. In total, 6 games of the World Cup-2018 will take place in Kazan. On June 20, Iran will play against Spain, on June 24, Poland against Colombia, on June 27, Korea against Germany. On June 30, 1/8 finals will be held, on July 6 – 1/4 finals. The FIFA World Cup-2018 will be held from June 14 to July 15. </p> <p> </p> <p> After the games, the containers will be taken separately for subsequent sorting by the type of waste, and then their contents will be sent for recycling or disposal, depending on the faction, reports the Committee Housing and Communal Services of the Kazan Executive Committee. </p>
