Approximately 58% of graduates choose mathematics for their state certification
This year, 21,000 schoolchildren will graduate from grades 9 and 11 in Kazan. Of these, 1,114 eleventh-graders will be awarded medals “For Special Achievements in Teaching”. Additionally, 1,062 ninth-grade graduates will receive an honorary certificate. This information was announced by Irek Rizvanov, the Head of the Department of Education.
Graduates will take their first exam on May 23, covering history, literature, and chemistry, while the state final certification for 9th grade students will begin on May 21.
Twenty-six sites are available for passing the Unified State Exam, 58 sites for the Main State Exam, and 10 facilities for the State Final Exams. In addition, there are 91 locations for children with special needs. To support students, the Department of Education has placed signs with encouraging messages in Russian and Tatar around the examination sites.
“The first state exam is a great source of stress and excitement for both students and their parents. Order, responsibility, and fairness are essential, but what is equally important is creating a friendly and supportive mood throughout the examination process,”- said Rustem Gafarov, the Head of the city's Executive Committee.
