Schoolchildren of Kazan will visit large factories of Zelenodolsk

<p> (KZN.RU, February 4, Alina Berezhnaya). This year, a new vocational guidance project for schoolchildren “Industrial Tourism” will be implemented in Tatarstan. Students will visit large enterprises of the republic. Elmira Zaripova, the minister of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the RT, told this at a press conference in the IA “Tatar-inform” today. </p> <p> </p> <p> The project will be implemented by employment centers of cities and districts of the republic that have a suburban railway connection. So, schoolchildren will come to municipal districts, where there are large enterprises of the republic. Tours of Kazan schoolchildren to the Gorky Plant and the Sergo Plant in Zelenodolsk are already planned. </p> <p> </p> <p> According to E. Zaripova, such trips will help students not only to decide on a profession, but also to choose a future place of work. “Today there is a labor migration. Schoolchildren should understand that after graduation, they may be living and working not in their municipal area. Therefore it is important to show them the possibilities of the republic in advance”, said the head of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security of the RT. </p> <p> </p> <p> Such enterprises as the Kazan Aviation Plant named after S. Gorbunov, the Kazan Compressor Machine Building Plant, the Kazan Motor-Building Production Association, and others have already shown interest in the project. According to E. Zaripova, the geography of school children’s suburban transportation will expand if the project goes well. </p>
