The school on R. Gareev Street in Kazan is ready for 70%

The new facility in the Privolzhsky district is planned to be delivered for the beginning of the school year.

(KZN.RU, March 22, Alina Berezhnaya). The construction of a new school in the Privolzhsky district of Kazan near the residential complex “Solovinaya Roscha” on R. Gareev Street is proceeding at a high pace. 70% of the work has been completed. The cladding of the building, proceeding to the finishing work and carrying out engineering networks. It was told to the journalists of the city and republican mass media at the press tour. The delivery of a new object is scheduled to the beginning of the school year.

The construction of the school for 1224 places started in early 2018. The construction is implemented under the federal target program for the development of education. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, inspected the progress of construction work last summer. Then there was only the foundation on the construction site.

The work on the object does not stop. At the moment, workers are completing the cladding of the building, proceeding to the finishing work and carrying out engineering networks.

Stanislav Shyrybyrov, the deputy director of GKU “Glavinveststroy RT”, said that the three-storey school will be divided into four thematic blocks: primary classes, sports, social and administrative blocks. On the first floor of the school, there will be a lobby, a wardrobe, a medical wing, labor education offices and a dining room with a capacity of 456 people. On the second floor, there will be classes, an assembly hall for 560 seats, a library, a choreography hall, and director’s and head teacher’s offices. The third floor is supposed to include classrooms, a complex of gyms. In addition, the school will have two pools. A small pool will take up to 20 students, a large one – 24 students. It is planned to build a football field, install a hockey box and a sports ground with exercise equipment for sports activities in the fresh air.

In the future school, conditions are created for the study of children with disabilities, including people with limited mobility. “During the design and construction of the school, we took into account all the nuances. It will be accessible to all children: elevators will be installed, toilet rooms with handrails, and a special mobile lift will appear in the pool”, explained S. Shyrybyrov. “The district is expanding and being actively built up. Now only one school is working here, but it is not enough. There are plans to build another such typical school in the area”, said S. Shyrybyrov.

Last year, 3 schools were delivered in Kazan: the Polytechnic School №182 in the RC “Salavat Kuperу”, the school №183 on Minskaya Street, and the school №184 in the RC “Svetlaya Dolina”.

This year, 3 schools are being built for 2849 places in Kazan within the framework of federal and republican programs: in the residential complex “Vesna” for 1501 places, on R. Gareev Street for 1224 places, and also as an extension to the school “SOlNTSe” at K. Nadzhmi Street for 124 places. A land plot has already been selected for the construction of another school for 1224 places in the RC “Salavat Kupere”.
