A school in the RC “Salavat Cupere” becomes the center of educational, cultural, and sports life of the district

<p> (KZN.RU, April 20, Ksenia Shvetsova). 25 classes (from the 1st to the 8th) are already completed in the multi-profile school for 1224 places, which is under construction in the RC “Salavat Cupere”. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, inspected the readiness of the educational institution, which is planned to be delivered by September 1. According to the Mayor, the new school should become the center of the educational, cultural, and public and sports life of the district. There will be a music school, a theater group and sports sections on its base. </p> <p> </p> <p> 1 billion rubles was allocated for building the school on the federal target program “Housing”, including 217 million for new equipment. It is planned that the main areas of the school will be engineering and technology, physics and mathematics, and sports. </p> <p> </p> <p> Now the facility is in a high degree of readiness. The construction of the pool has been completed, training classes have been prepared and decorated. At the moment, the contractor purchases furniture. By the way, the walls of each cabinet in the school are painted in their own color. “Much attention is paid to ensuring that all fire regulations are met as accurately as possible, and even with a reserve”, said Sergey Mironov, the head of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts’ administration. “Therefore, many things that were originally in the design, today thoroughly studied for fire safety”. </p> <p> </p> <p> I. Metshin examined the premises of the school restaurant, in which construction work is still in progress. Guzel Ananieva, the general director of the AO “Department of Food and Social Catering of Kazan”, told the Mayor that the interior will be dominated by bright shades. The children could relax and distract themselves from the lessons in a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The Mayor highly appreciated this idea and noted the attractive design of the future restaurant. </p> <p> </p> <p> The sports hall is almost ready. “We plan to use acoustic elements that absorb sound so that sports activities do not distract the rest of the children from studying. There will be a good, oak sports parquet on the floor”, reported S. Mironov. “An artistic drawing will be on one wall of the hall”. </p> <p> </p> <p> Examining the future assembly hall, I. Metshin urged to make it as modern and cozy as possible not only for children, but also for all residents of the micro-district. “This school will become the center of not only educational, but also cultural, public, and sports life of the district. These halls will work for both school and extracurricular activities. Therefore, all work must be done taking this into account. It is necessary to build this school not just as a real education temple, but also as a house of culture and sport that will serve the whole district. The building must meet the highest requirements and norms”, said the head of the city. </p> <p> </p> <p> Also, areas for sports and active recreation will be organized on the territory of the school. </p> <p> </p> <p> Kazan has outstripped all Russian cities with a million population in terms of the number of children's educational institutions over the past 10 years. Two modern schools for 1224 seats each were opened in the city in the past year. This year, three more new schools will be opened for Kazan schoolchildren. In addition, the construction of a school for 1500 places in the RC “Vesna” has been started. </p>
