8358 thousand tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets per day

<p> (KZN.RU, December 6). 8358 tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets over the past day. 576 road workers and 620 units of special equipment were involved in work on the streets. 86 combined road machines, 69 CRM “Boschung”, 18 snow loaders, 128 brush tractors, 25 graders, 75 wheel loaders, 57 MKSM “Barsik”, 141 dump trucks, and others were among them. </p> <p> </p> <p> 88 tons of anti-icing treatment was used on the roads of the Tatarstan’s capital for the day, including 14 tons of reagent and 74 tons of sand-salt mixture. </p> <p> </p> <p> According to the districts’ administrations, 515 road workers will go to the streets of Kazan for snow removal and 306 units of special equipment will be used today. </p> <p> </p> <p> In total, more than 188.5 thousand tons of snow were removed from the streets of the city since the beginning of the winter period, reports the Committee for External Improvement of the Executive Committee. </p>
