563 road workers will be involved in the cleaning of the streets.

(KZN.RU, March 21). 8010 tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets over the past day. 631 road workers and 586 units of special equipment were involved in work on the streets. 86 combined road machines, 59 CRM “Boschung”, 15 snow loaders, 102 brush tractors, 26 graders, 77 wheel loaders, 49 MKSM “Barsik”, 155 dump trucks, and others were among them.

140 tons of anti-icing treatment were used on the roads per day, including 10 tons of reagent and 130 tons of sand-salt mixture.

According to the districts’ administrations, 563 road workers will go to the streets of Kazan for snow removal and 306 units of special equipment will be used today.

In total, more than 835.9 thousand tons of snow were removed from the streets since the beginning of the winter period, reports the Committee of External Improvement of the Executive Committee.
