More than 180 thousand tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets since the beginning of winter

<p> (KZN.RU, December 28). 8095 tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets over the past day. In total, 567 road workers and 616 units of special equipment were involved in work on the streets. 86 combined road machines, 70 CRM “Boschung”, 22 snow loaders, 126 brush tractors, 28 graders, 69 wheel loaders, 49 MKSM “Barsik”, 144 dump trucks, and others were among them. </p> <p> </p> <p> 126 tons of anti-icing treatment was used on the roads of the Tatarstan’s capital for the day, including 22 tons of reagent and 104 tons of sand-salt mixture. </p> <p> </p> <p> According to the districts’ administrations, 509 road workers will go to the streets of Kazan for snow removal and 322 units of special equipment will be used today. </p> <p> </p> <p> In total, more than 180 thousand tons of snow were removed from the streets of the city since the beginning of the winter period, reports the Committee for External Improvement. </p>
