239.2 thousand tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets since the beginning of the winter period

Almost 6.7 tons out of them were removed yesterday.

(KZN.RU, January 12). 6690 tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets over the past day. 659 road workers and 607 units of special equipment were involved in work on the streets. 94 combined road machines, 71 CRM “Boschung”, 15 snow loaders, 121 brush tractors, 29 graders, 67 wheel loaders, 50 MKSM “Barsik”, 139 dump trucks, and others were among them.

506 tons of anti-icing treatment were used on the roads per day, including 87 tons of reagent and 419 tons of sand-salt mixture.

According to the districts’ administrations, 609 road workers will go to the streets of Kazan for snow removal and 321 units of special equipment will be used today.

In total, more than 239.2 thousand tons of snow were removed from the streets of the city since the beginning of the winter period, reports the Committee of External Improvement of the Executive Committee.
