Since 2019, inspections and maintenance of gas equipment in apartments are held annually

Fines are provided for citizens who do not let inspectors in the apartments or do not follow the rules for operating gas equipment.

(KZN.RU, March 21, Ksenia Shvetsova). From this year, inspections and maintenance of gas equipment in the apartments are held once a year. Gas workers warn that fines are provided for those who do not let employees of the Gorgas in the apartment or violate the rules of operation of gas equipment, endangering the life and health of people. Their amount varies from 1 to 30 thousand rubles. Dmitry Orlovich, the head of the service organization for the operation of the gas economy of “’Gazprom transgaz Kazan”, announced this today at the press conference at the IA “Tatar-inform”.

Previously, inspections were carried out once every three years. Dmitry Orlovich told about the violations for which citizens can be fined. Thus, fines for evading the conclusion of an agreement on equipment maintenance are range from 1 to 2 thousand rubles. The same amount will have to be paid for refusing to let representatives of specialized organizations for maintenance and for evasion of replacing gas equipment if such replacement is mandatory. Repeatedly committing an administrative offense is punishable by a fine of 2 to 5 thousand rubles. Actions or inaction of citizens, which led to the accident, are punished more severely: fines range from 20 to 30 thousand rubles.

“Our organization does not have the authority to issue fines, but we submit lists of malicious violators to the State Housing Inspectorate”, noted D. Orlovich.

He also added that over the past year, the OOO “Gazprom Transgaz Kazan” have replaced more than 30 thousand units of outdated gas equipment at the initiative of conscious citizens.

Other organizations also check equipment in the apartments. Today there are more than 200 specialized organizations in Tatarstan that can enter into contracts with the population and the gas distribution organization for maintenance. Dishonest citizens often use it and in the guise of gas servants sell gas-signaling devices to citizens at inflated prices. It is possible to distinguish such an attacker from a real employee of the gas service by the presence of a certificate and a corresponding contract. Real gas workers do not sell equipment to citizens, noted D. Orlovich. The official site of the Gorgaz regularly publishes public service schedules.

When servicing gas equipment, employees of the Gorgaz inspect the operation of house and apartment wiring, as well as the gas stove. Thus, according to Elena Gaidukova, the head of the production and technical department of the “Kazangorgaz”, maintenance of the distribution costs 57 rubles 19 kopecks, stove – 247 rubles 85 kopecks. In total, the cost of standard service does not exceed 305 rubles. If the apartment has an instantaneous water boiler and a 4-stove gas stove, the service will cost 667 rubles 40 kopecks. “This equipment is complex, there are automation systems. It is necessary to invest something in order for everything to be in a normal state”, noted E. Gaidukova. She added that if citizens are dissatisfied with the maintenance of the equipment, they should take measures in time and contact the gas service. The list of works to be carried out during the maintenance and inspection of equipment is specified in the contract with the gas distribution company. “Every resident is interested in his equipment to work normally. If the resident is not satisfied, he may not sign the act of acceptance of the work done and not pay for this service, and then call Gorgaz and tell them to come again. So the citizens will be sure that they have secured their house”, said E. Gaidukova.
