The Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to Volga Federal district proposed to replicate Tatarstan experience in improving public spaces in other regions of the district.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy in Volga Federal district Igor Komarov visited a number of infrastructure and industrial facilities in Kazan. Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin also took part in the visit.
The first venue in the program was the embankment of the Kaban Lake. Aide to Tatarstan President Natalia Fishman-Bekmambetova made a tour of the lower tier of the embankment, told about the main stages of improvement of the venue. Igor Komarov inspected the walking areas, a children's water complex with a system of hydraulic installations and phyto-treatment facilities with water plant families.
Natalia Fishman-Bekmambetova also told about further plans for improving the embankment.
Then Rustam Minnikhanov and Igor Komarov visited the Eidos-medicine center. An innovative company located on the territory of the Idea Technopark specialized in designing and manufacturing high-fidelity medical simulators. The Presidential Plenipotentiary in Volga Federal district wad informed about the activities of the company, manufacturing facilities and simulation training equipment.
The Eidos-Medicine representatives also presented new developments, including a diagnostic system for detecting coronavirus. The device was designed together with Japanese colleagues. The test system is a portable mini-laboratory allowing to get a high-precision result in 20 minutes.
Then Rustam Minnikhanov, Igor Komarov and Ilsur Metshin visited the construction site of the Great Kazan Ring road. Lenar Safin, Tatarstan Minister of transport, said that the work is being carried out in two stages. The first stage is carried out on the section from Midhat Bulatov street to Boriskovskaya street, where a four-lane road is being built. At the same time, the builders put the tram rails to Tekhnicheskaya street, this connection will allow to loop the tram route. In March, the second stage started on the section from Boriskovskaya street to Tekhnicheskaya street.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the Great Kazan Ring road is one of the largest infrastructure venues in the capital.
After that, the participants of the inspection got familiar with the result of the yard improvement on Bigichev street. The renovation was carried out under the Our yard national program, Tatarstan President’s Press Office reports.
In conclusion, Rustam Minnikhanov, Igor Komarov and Ilsur Metshin visited the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest. Natalia Fishman-Bekmambetova spoke about the improvement of this park and the concept of development of each theme area. The visitors also inspected the children's environmental center and visited a cafe, where they talked with customers.
The Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to Volga Federal district highly appreciated the level of improvement of public spaces in Tatarstan and suggested to replicate this experience in other regions of the district. “We see that a lot of attention is paid to a comfortable urban environment in the republic. We are, it can be said, in the forest. Seemingly, not very complicated and understandable issues are being implemented, but they create completely different conditions for citizens. What we have seen today is certainly impressive. I believe that this experience should be used in other regions of Volga Federal district, as well as throughout Russia”, - said Igor Komarov.
