The head of the republic discussed a pilot project on introduction of tax charges for self-employed citizens.
(KZN.RU, July 19). Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, held a meeting with self-employed entrepreneurs. He discussed a project to introduce tax charges for self-employed citizens. A pilot version of it is to be developed in four regions of the country: Moscow, the Moscow and the Kaluga regions, and the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Federal Tax Service has created a mobile application project that allows remotely registering of self-employed citizens in the tax service and making payments without the delivery of any special reporting.
Opening the meeting, R. Minnikhanov noted that sooner or later, the system of self-employment will have to be streamlined. “We must understand that we all live within the law. You take good care of yourself and your families. But there are certain obligations. Time goes by, it's time to think about retirement. Most importantly, you are law-abiding citizens. Why should you risk?” the President of the RT addressed the participants of the meeting. He noted that the status of the pilot region for the introduction of new tools for accounting for self-employed will allow the leadership of the republic to take into account the interests of the citizens as much as possible.
“We want to hear your options. We need to correctly formulate our tasks within the framework of the program and exclude any risks that you may face”, added R. Minnikhanov.
Then the participants of the meeting voiced their wishes and concerns about the implementation of the new taxation program. Thus, in particular, they proposed to make a tax rate for self-employed differentiated depending on the income level, to introduce a ban on inspections of those self-employed who passed certification and confirmed their compliance with standards, to enter a test period without taxes and checks, so that a self-employed could try their sphere and expressed other opinions.
At the end of the meeting, R. Minnikhanov thanked the participants for the informative conversation. He noted that all the issues raised will be carefully considered and worked out within the framework of the future project.
Timur Nagumanov, the authorized representative under the President of the RT for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs, held the meeting. Rustam Nigmatullin, the first deputy prime minister of the RT, Denis Kalinkin, the head of the Kazan Executive Committee, and others took part in it.
