On the back of increasing incidence of coronavirus, there is a decrease in the number of cases of influenza.
In Tatarstan, there is an increase in the incidence rate of coronavirus infection. Compared to the previous week, the increase was 21%. Lyubov Avdonina, deputy head of the Tatarstan Department of Rospotrebnadzor (The Federal Agency for Surveillance of Human Rights and Wellbeing), reported about this today at a press conference at the Tatar-inform Agency.
“At the moment, we are continuing to identify Omicron and Delta strains, – she said. – A total of 431 patients with omicron strain have been registered.”
Over the past day, 266 children were not allowed to attend classes. Since the beginning of September, the total number of sick students has made 48 thousand. Three classes have been separated, Lyubov Avdonina added.
Since the beginning of monitoring, 108,612 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Tatarstan. Over the past day, 2,545 new cases of the disease have been recorded. According to the federal operational headquarters, 123,460 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Russia during the day. In total, 16 052 028 cases were registered in the country, 13 139 971 people recovered.
In total, 2 460 617 people have been vaccinated in the republic, which is 80.77% of the population, of which 1 925 700 people already have a booster shot. 243 499 people were re-vaccinated – 30% of the planned amount.
Lyubov Avdonina noted that the lifting of restrictions in the work of nightclubs, cafes and restaurants is not yet being considered. “We carry out measures to monitor the compliance of anti-covid measures. Over the past week, 88 violations were revealed, administrative fines were imposed in the amount of more than 313,000 roubles.
At the same time, there is a decrease in the number of cases of influenza infection in the republic. “The level of influenza decreased by 31% over the previous week and by 1.7% below the epidemic threshold. It can be argued that the seasonal epidemiological season is nearing its end”, - Lyubov Avdonina said.
