A record number of children and youth took part in this year's Kazan stage of the festival “Sozvezdie”

<p> (KZN.RU, April 9). This year more than 8 thousand children took part in the Kazan festival “Sozvezdie”. This is a record number of children in the history of the contest city stage. This is one of the confirmations that Kazan has created many opportunities for the realization of the creative abilities of children and youth. Denis Kalinkin, the head of the Executive Committee, said this today at the Business Monday. </p> <p> </p> <p> “The infrastructure developed in the city for the realization of creative abilities fr om the earliest age is productive. We have many gifted children and quite a lot of opportunities for their development. Just the number of participants of the city stage of the festival “Sozvezdie” speaks for itself – 8 thousand”, said D. Kalinkin. “Of course, not all of them will become artists. But preparing for performances, they temper the character, learn purposefulness, organization, and all these qualities will be useful for children and young people in the future, whatever they do”. The head of the Executive Committee marked that further attention will be paid to this issue. “This applies to the modernization of teenage clubs, houses of culture, and institutions of additional education. And we will necessarily support the best at festivals so that they have an incentive to grow further”, he said. </p> <p> </p> <p> Airat Faizov, the chairman of the Committee on Children and Youth Affairs, spoke about the festivals that traditionally take place in the capital of Tatarstan in the spring. So, the winners of the city stage of the festival “Sozvezdie –Yoldyzlyk” will take part in the republican stage, which started yesterday. </p> <p> </p> <p> Last week the results were summed up in the republican festival among students of professional educational organizations “Spring drops-2018”, which was held for the 22nd time. 85 Tatarstan secondary specialized colleges, including 25 in Kazan, presented their competitive programs, full-fledged theatrical and variety performances. The festival has received 4.5 thousand amateur artists and more than 10 thousand spectators and fans this year. The leaders were the Kazan Pedagogical College and the Transport College, and the absolute winner among the programs was the Kazan University of Innovation named after V. Timiryasov, said A. Faizov. </p> <p> </p> <p> Presentations of competitive programs of universities at the festival “Student Spring” will start on April 12. Until the end of the month, each university will demonstrate its own concert program. You can visit the programs for free by taking tickets in student's clubs of universities or in the Committee for Children and Youth Affairs. The winners of the festival will go to the Russian student spring, which will be held in Stavropol in mid-May this year. </p> <p> </p> <p> And on April 16, the winner of the festival “Big Break”, the creative contest of Kazan schools, will be known. The school-winner of the festival will receive 1 million rubles for the development of infrastructure, the second million from the prize fund will be divided by silver and bronze winner, as well as laureates in nominations. “Last year the educational school №177 became the winner, and the won money was realized for sound and lighting equipment in the school's assembly hall, as well as for the light in the video studio”, recalled the chairman of the Committee for Children and Youth Affairs. </p> <p> </p> <p> During the year, 162 Kazan schools take part in the festival. Airat Faizov said that the final part of the festival was held on the basis of general and higher educational institutions, wh ere 12 strongest schools showed their programs. The jury consisted of popular artists and famous teachers: Rimma Ibrahimova, a People's Artist of the TASSR, Kobul Amonov, a member of the UNESCO Choreographic Council, Ilnar Sungatov, a director, and others. </p> <p> </p> <p> A. Faizov also drew attention to the fact that work is being done in the capital of Tatarstan with so-called difficult teenagers. Such work is carried out within the framework of the project “Svoi” in teenage clubs, in social centers “Doverie” and “Duslik”. Dozens of children take part in the program “From street to sport and creativity” every year. </p> <p> </p> <p> The quality of this work is taken into account when making ratings. On March 23, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs published the final rating of the effectiveness of the executive authorities implementing the youth policy. Tatarstan was the absolute leader of the rating, according to A. Fayizov, the leading role in this result was played by Kazan students, youth public, and creative associations, festival movement, youth policy institutions. </p>
