Entertaining and informative weekend: master classes, concerts, and slides

(KZN.RU, February 1). Working week is coming to an end. This weekend, residents and visitors of the city will enjoy a rich educational and cultural entertainment program. This weekend, we offer to talk with travelers and learn about travels in Europe and South America, learn Zumba dance, as well as play the piano and ukuleles, and slide in the ice town near the Family Center “Kazan”.

The action “Skorei v Musei!”

February 2 and 3

This weekend, Kazan will host the action Skorei v Musei!” (Rus. “Rush to the museum”) for primary school students. Children will be able to visit the National Museum of the RT and its branches for free. Tours, museum classes and master classes are available at a reduced price.

The program includes unique museum activities for children, interactive programs with master classes, and quest games. Children will be able to develop their creative skills at the museum master classes on weaving, ceramics and painting on wood.

An Ice Town at the Family Center “Kazan”

The platform at the Chasha continues to entertain its guests with a large ice town with carousels, ice sculptures, a labyrinth, and four slides. The largest of them is U-shaped, its length is 120 meters with a height of 11 meters.

Special rooms are equipped there where you can hide from the winter cold and warm up with hot tea. Children can watch cartoons in one of them.

The fourth stage of the competition Rotax Max Kazan

This Saturday, pilots from all over Russia will meet in a racing competition at KazanRing Canyon. Spectators will have the drive and adrenaline watching serious struggle between the participants.

The meeting on traveling in South America with a length of 7 months

The eco-center “Dom” in the Gorkinsko-Ometievsky forest will host a meeting with the traveler Alexander, who will tell about his trip to South America with a length of 7 and a half months. During this time, he visited Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Chile, and Ecuador. He will share his knowledge of how you can fly across the Atlantic in lower cost, whether yellow fever vaccination is needed for such a trip, and what adventures and troubles a traveler can expect in a remote continent.

The concert “Tatiana's Day”

The concert called “Tatiana's Day” will be held in the concert hall of the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Tatarstan. Well-known and favorite songs will be performed on a guitar.

Zumba Dance Fitness Program

February 3 at 3 pm

The Zumba Dance Fitness Program based on the rhythms of Latin American music is scheduled in one of the city’s malls at Pobedy Prospect, №141. The coaches who will hold the event have completed an authorized dance courses. Thus, participants will have an exciting and educational class.

Free vocal, piano and ukulele master classes

February 3 at 3 pm, 4.30 pm, and 6 pm

Free master classes on vocals, piano, and ukulele will take place in the creative laboratory “Teatr-Ventilyator”.

The vocal master class is scheduled for 3 pm. The program includes vocal breathing, the development of hearing, voice and vocal range, overcoming clamps, as well as mastering the principle of “enjoy your singing is easy”.

At 4.30 pm, the piano lesson will begin. They will teach the correct formulation of hands, the basics of musical notation, the playing in the neoclassical style and the exercises for improvisation.

At 6 pm, there will be a master class on the ukulele. Everyone will be able to learn everything about comfortable fit and setting hands during playing, learn the first chords, the strumming and transferring guitar chords to the ukulele. The lesson is a practical one so you better to bring your own instrument.

The performance of the vocal-instrumental duet “Maki Maty Hari”

The concert of the duet “Maki Maty Hari” will take place in one of the city’s malls at Pobedy Prospect, №141. They create their music with a guitar, a piano, and various percussion instruments. Such a variety of musical devices allows them to play songs in the genres of jazz, blues, rock, and pop. The repertoire includes well-known and favorite hits in Russian, English in original arrangements and their own works.

The master class “Cost-effective Travel in Europe”

February 3 at 7 pm

In the creative space “Mayakovsky”, a master class on the topic “Cost-effective Travel in Europe” will be held. Farida Shtaida, who visited Belarus, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, France, and the Czech Republic, will talk about trips, how to plan them, wh ere to find tickets, how to make a route and do it all spending minimum of funds.
