By the end of the summer the number of warning system of UAV’s attack via intercoms in housing will reach about 5,500
For the first time in 55 years, houses 30 and 32 on Mavlyutova Street in the Privolzhsky city district are being renovated. The Mayor got acquainted with a warning system of UAV’s attack via intercoms in the apartment buildings.
“This year’s renovation program has covered 241 apartment buildings. For example, take a look at the facade of the house № 30: if earlier “Khrushchev- house” was just a household name, now it's a modern building with updated facades, entrances, and glazed balconies. It's a completely different design, and the people have a different mood. It's important that all the work is done in constant dialogue with residents. Their wishes and quality control are key to ensuring we get cozy, beautiful courtyards, and a new quality of life. When you look at the photos, you can hardly believe how the house looked before the renovation. The difference is evident,”- said the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.
At the same time, the entrances were repaired and the foundations of the houses were strengthened and insulated. Also, the heating pipes and other utilities in the basement were replaced. As the warmer days approached, roof repairs started, and 95% of them have been completed to date.
An UAV safety alert system integrated with intercoms is operating in 450 apartment buildings in Kazan, covering 1,933 intercom units fr om Tattelecom. By the end of July, an agreement is planned with Ufanet, which has 3,500 installed intercoms in 800 apartment buildings in the city. This will connect another 800 homes to the system, allowing safe access to shelter through the Single Duty and Dispatch Service.
Shelters are also available on Mavlutova Street 28 with five entrances, wh ere citizens can take refuge during an UAV emergency.
