The renovation under the Our Yard program in the Aviastrotelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts of Kazan has been completed by 75%

Repair work under the Our Yard republican program in the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts of Kazan has been completed by 75%. In total, 55 yards will be repaired in two districts of the capital of Tatarstan this year and residents of 125 apartment buildings will see the results of the improvement. Now the main works are being carried out at 12 sites, asphalt pavement is being completed in 36 yards, outdoor lighting networks are being repaired and small architectural forms are being installed. The head of the administration of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts got acquainted with the progress of repairs in one of the yards on Gagarin Street.

The yards at 77, 79, 81 Gagarin Street, in which almost 700 people live, were created in 1957-1958. Work is underway on an area of more than 14.6 thousand sq.m. “This is another example of an integrated approach in the formation of the program, when several adjacent territories are included in the list”, - F.Nurmukhametov noted.

The improvement is carried out with the cooperation of the municipality with property management companies and residents. The head of the Housing and Utilities Department of the district administration, Damir Mukhamadiev, said that at the request of residents, parking spaces are organized in the yard, which were not provided before. In total, 29 parking spaces will be create in the yard after landscaping. According to the plan, new asphalt will be laid in the yards, small architectural forms will be installed, sports and playgrounds, lawn and green areas will be equipped, lighting and trash bins will be installed.

The head of the district administration instructed contractors to carry out all the work efficiently and on time – by October.

Alongside the landscaping of the yard, the current maintenance of houses is being carried out – entrance doors and ground floors to be renewed.

For reference, according to the Our Yard presidential program, yards of 466 apartment buildings will be landscaped in Kazan this year. The program is 70% completed in the capital of the republic of Tatarstan. The works have been completed at 210 yards.
