Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, inspected the progress of construction of the metro station “Dubravnaya” of the Kazan metro. </p> <p> </p> <p> The head of the Republic was accompanied by Asgat Safarov, the head of the Presidential Administration of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Lenar Safin, the Minister of Transport and Road Facilities of the RT, Irek Faizullin, the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing of the RT, Marat Aizatullin, the Director of the GISU RT, Marat Rakhimov, the general director of the AO “Kazmetrostroy”, and others. </p> <p> </p> <p> Rustam Minnikhanov was informed that the main construction and installation works at the station were completed. Now the commissioning and test work of the station's support systems are in progress. </p> <p> </p> <p> “The station is almost ready. All systems operate, the train is on the platform, and there are night-tests of the rolling stock. Works on the improvement of the surface are continuing. Unfortunately, the long spring did not allow works to be done on time. Nevertheless, we will try to complete the work to the World Cup”, said Marat Rakhimov, the general director of the AO “Kazmetrostroy”. </p> <p> </p> <p> Rustam Minnikhanov inspected the internal design of the station and the new way of contactless payment for travel using a mobile phone. Then the President of the RT traveled by train from the station “Dubravnaya” to the station “Prospect Pobedy”, reports the press service of the head of the Republic. </p> <p> </p> <p> “Very convenient public transport, very comfortable. As hard as it was, we are moving forward. Of course, due to weather conditions, there was no time to complete the improvement. However, the track is ready. I think this is a great gift for the Victory Day”, said Rustam Minnikhanov during his meeting with journalists. </p>
