R. Minnikhanov and I. Metshin visited the exhibition of technological solutions at the IT&Security Forum

The Forum is one of the ten largest annual events in Russia in the field of information security and digital technologies.

(KZN.RU, May 31). Today, Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, visited an exhibition of technological solutions organized at the IT&Security Forum. The forum is taking place these days in Kazan at the site of the GTRK “Korston”. Rustam Minnikhanov was accompanied by Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Roman Shaikhutdinov, deputy prime minister of the RT and the minister of Information and Communication of the RT, Aidar Guzairov, the general director of ICL System Technologies, and Rifkat Minnikhanov, the director of the GBU “Road Safety”.

At the first demonstration stand, the President of the RT was presented with a platform for modeling and solving non-standard tasks created as part of the project of the Situational Center of the RT. In particular, Rustam Minnikhanov was informed about the work of analytical models for assessing life quality and calculating capital investment programs. The program is designed for the optimal distribution of the allocated limits across municipalities based on actual provision, population size and development priorities of the region. Rustam Minnikhanov suggested that the Ministry of Construction of the RT study this model of calculations. They should analyze the effectiveness of its use in construction projects of the republic, taking into account existing experience.

Then the President of the RT got acquainted with a number of technological solutions in the field of creating a “smart city”. The first project is the design “Smart Pillar”. Multifunctional support with removable modules allows implementing a set of tasks: video surveillance, security, energy-efficient lighting, Wi-Fi coverage, improving the quality of mobile communication. Rustam Minnikhanov supported the installation of “Smart Pillars” at the main city sites. Roman Shaikhutdinov, the head of the Ministry of Communications of the RT, noted that today it is possible to develop similar designs at a more affordable price and with a full set of necessary services.

Then Rustam Minnikhanov was informed about the decisions in intelligent transport systems from the company Hikvision. Developments provide road safety and traffic management in the city, fix offenses using video analytics technologies, collect information for structuring big data in the framework of the project “Safe City”, and much more. According to the developers, combining various video surveillance systems with a modern intellectual video analytics platform and collecting metadata will not just provide timely information about events in the city. Also, it helps optimize the performance of city services, increases the detection rate of crimes, provides the necessary information to business entities. Rifkat Minnikhanov, the director of the GBU “Road Safety”, told the President of the RT that today there is an agreement with Hikvision to implement a joint pilot project in the republic.

Rustam Minnikhanov also inspected demonstration stands with solutions to identify deviations (pre-emergency conditions) in the operation of process equipment, a platform for working with big data in the field of information security, a video analytics system for retail outlets SmartMetrix, an industrial security software and hardware complex for complex working conditions of Sprith and a number of others, reports the press service of the President of the RT.
