<p> (KZN.RU, August 30, Alsu Safina). Today, the celebration of the City Day takes place at different venues in Kazan. Fr om 10 am, a festive program is held in the yard at Prospect Yamashev and Prospect Amirkhan, where more than 1600 people live. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, and Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, visited the holiday. The gift for the residents was the performance of Albert Asadullin, an Honored Artist of the RSFSR, a People's Artist of the RT. </p> <p> </p> <p> This yard was among repaired yards in Kazan. Last year, asphalt was repaired there at the expense of the republican budget. A big contribution to the improvement of the yard was made by the management company “Uyutny Dom”. They designed 11 grounds there taking into account the wishes of local residents. This is a football-basketball field with polyurethane coating, 4 play areas for children of different ages, a recreation area, a street library. </p> <p> </p> <p> Today, several thematic venues were organized in the yard: an exhibition of paintings and decorative and applied art, a master class for the manufacture of clay products. There was a friendly match in futsal on the sports ground, a chess tournament, a ball-pumping competition. Participants in the holiday could play table tennis, set a record in tightening on the bar, jumping rope, lifting weights, etc. </p> <p> </p> <p> In addition, the book-crossing was organized, and the residents of the houses treated the guests with vegetables and fruits grown by their own hands, as well as tea with pancakes. At the same time, the bands of the city performed on the stage. </p> <p> </p> <p> Guests of the festival visited the site, talked with residents who came for the holiday. </p> <p> </p> <p> Fr om the stage, the President congratulated everyone on the triple holiday: the Republic Day, the City Day, and the yard holiday. “It's nice when we celebrate them with events that make our life more comfortable. Today we visited the Tykay Museum, opened the metro station, and came to visit you on the holiday of the yard”, said the head of the republic. “I wish that this yard was the place wh ere you come, meet, wh ere you are comfortable and safe. Thank you to everyone who created this miracle”. After the congratulations, Rustam Minnikhanov presented the state award. Veteran Ravil Gatiatullin awarded the medal of the RT “For Valiant Labor” for many years of productive work for the benefit of Tatarstan and a great contribution to the victory in the Great Patriotic War. A musical gift for all was the performance of Albert Asadullin, an Honored Artist of the RSFSR, a People's Artist of the RT. </p> <p> </p> <p> Asgat Safarov, the head of the Presidential Administration of the RT, Leila Fazleeva, the deputy prime minister of the RT, Natalia Fishman, an assistant to the President of the RT, Damir Fattakhov, the minister of Youth of the RT, Denis Kalinkin, the head of the Executive Committee, Iskander Giniyatullin, the deputy head of the Executive Committee, Timur Alibaev, the head of the Aviastroitelny and Novo- Savinovsky districts’ administration, Azat Abzalov, the head of the Department of Culture, and others also attended the event. </p>
