<p> </p> <p> The next stage of the Our Yard program starts in Tatarstan. Yards of 482 houses with a total area of 533,000 square meters will be landscaped in Kazan this year. 2.8 billion rubles have been allocated for these purposes. The improvements will affect 100 thousand residents of the capital of the republic of Tatarstan, Igor Salakhutdinov, Chairman of the Kazan Land Improvement Committee, reported at the Business Monday meeting. </p> <p> “The improvement of yards is part of the work to create a comfortable and safe urban environment, - the head of the Executive Committee Rustem Gafarov drew attention. - It's not only exterior, although a landscaped yard with good roads, comfortable benches and a playground is no doubt great. But it is also important that the lighting is being updated, bright yards are becoming safer.” </p> <p> According to R. Gafarov, along with the repair of the road surface, parking spaces for cars are being improved. “A well–maintained yard is also an opportunity for sports literally within walking distance, for walking with children, communicating with neighbors. We see that empty yards are full of life and residents after landscaping,”- said the head of the Executive Committee. </p> <p> The list of yard improvement for 2023 was compiled based on the results of the rating vote and the appeals of citizens, I.Salakhutdinov noted. </p> <p> Yards of 136 apartment buildings will be landscaped in the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts, 125 in the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts, 91 in the Sovetsky district, 130 in the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts. “Attention is paid to all yards equally regardless of their size. Each site will be landscaped in compliance with all the regulations of the program,” the speaker noted. </p> <p> According to I. Salakhutdinov, this year the largest site will be a complex of yards along Sovetskaya, Pravdu and Khalezova streets with a total area of 33,000 square meters, where more than 700 people live. The smallest yard, which is planned to be landscaped, is located at 41 Sara Sadykova Street, where 37 people live. Its area is 822 sq.m </p> <p> The Our Yard program was adopted in 2020 on the initiative of the Rais (Head) of the republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, has a duration of 5 years. </p> <p> The innovation of 2022 was the launch of online voting on Lokolo digital service. It was tested with the help of residents of house No. 19 on Frunze Street, they were offered to coordinate the final scheme of improvement through a mobile application. The platform allows users who cannot personally attend meetings of owners to get acquainted with the project and vote. It is planned to continue this option, I. Salakhutdinov said. </p> <p> The meetings are attended by representatives of the Our Yard program, district administrations, property management companies, the Land Improvement Committee of Kazan, architects and designers. The residents offer their ideas for discussion and make adjustments to the projects if necessary. For example, earlier, following a meeting with residents, the parking lot was expanded and workout area for children was equipped at the yard of houses No. 81, 83 and 85 on Zorge Street. </p> <p> As explained by I. Salakhutdinov, the work will begin this week. Information desks with project designs will be placed in each yard. The quality of the work will be monitored by Glavtatdortrans, Glavinveststroy and other institutions. </p> <br> <p> </p>
