Putin: The BRICS Summit will be held in Kazan in 2024

<p> Russia will assume the BRICS Chairmanship in 2024. Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that the meeting is scheduled for October 2024 in Kazan. </p> <p> “We intend to hold about 200 events on political, economic and social matters in over ten Russian cities. We expect to hold the BRICS summit in October 2024 in Kazan,”- Putin said at the summit via videoconference. </p> <p> The exact dates will be coordinated later through diplomatic channels. </p> <p> BRICS is an international association that includes Russia, Brazil, India, China and South Africa. </p>
