The project of construction of an aerial cableway in Kazan was discussed at a meeting of the Investment Council of Tatarstan

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov chaired the meeting.

The projects that are planned to be implemented in the republic were discussed at the meeting of the Investment Council of Tatarstan chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The event was attended by Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and others.

The project of an aerial cableway that will connect Gorky Park and the Ak Bars Arena stadium in Kazan were presented by Denis Belov, Director General of AeroMost Company. The project provides for 3 billion rubles investments and creation of 120 jobs for its construction. “The total area of the required land plots is 2.9 hectares. The length of the cableway is 2,773 m, it will pass through the recreational zone of Russian-German Switzerland and will open a wonderful view of the green areas”, - Denis Belov said.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the project has been discussed for a long time, and the cableway is necessary for the city.

Projects for the construction of a kindergarten in Naberezhnye Chelny, an observation tower in the Verkhneuslonsky district, “Zelenodolsk 3” trading distribution center, a multifunctional auto-complex near the “Zelenodolsk” industrial park by the Tranzit-City company were also put up for discussion, Tatarstan President’s Press Office reports.
