(KZN.RU, September 26). Kazan student Ksenia Belyaeva won a gold medal at the V International Young Inventors Award (IYIA-2018) for the project “Wave Energy Installation”. The exhibition was held on the island of Bali (Indonesia) from 19 to 22 of September.
Gold medals were awarded to several more Tatarstan people: Indira Kalimullina from Naberezhnye Chelny for the project “Device for Control of Posture”, and Insaf Salakhov from Zelenodolsk for the project “Fire Extinguishing Device with Elastic Capsules”.
More than 300 schoolchildren and students from 15 countries took part in the exhibition. Russia was represented at the international arena by 17 inventors aged 6 to 19 from Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Norilsk, the Republic of Tatarstan, Chita, Ufa, Monchegorsk, Sarov, and other subjects and cities of Russia. As a result of the exhibition, the projects of the Russian participants were awarded 12 gold and 5 silver medals, reports the Ministry of Education and Science of the RT.
The international exhibition is organized by the Association of Indonesian Inventors (INNOPA) with the support of the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA).
