President of Tatarstan has met with ambassador of Belgium in Russia Jean Arthur Rajibo

Today in the Kazan Kremlin, the president of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium in Russia Jean Arthur Rejibo. The parties considered the prospects of trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation, the organization of business structures. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the Minister for Youth and Sports Vladimir Leonov, the Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan Sergey Ivanov and others took part in the meeting.

Rustam Minnikhanov told the Ambassador of Belgium about large-scale infrastructure projects being implemented in Tatarstan, about the economic and investment potential of the republic.

During the meeting, issues related to the stay of football players of the Belgian national team and fans within the framework of the World Cup 2018 in Kazan were also discussed. Matches of the group stage of the Belgian national team will be held in Moscow, Kaliningrad and Sochi. However, with the successful performance of the Belgians quarterfinals with their participation can be held in Kazan or Samara. "We are ready to create comfortable conditions for athletes and fans from Belgium in our republic,"- Rustam Minnikhanov assured.
