The President of the RT ordered to hold a competition for the development of the project “Tyubetei Tower”

The perspective of creating the tower was discussed at a meeting of the Investment Council of the RT.

(KZN.RU, April 23). Today Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, held a meeting of the Investment Council of the RT. The meeting took place in the Government House of the RT. Participants considered projects planned for implementation in Tatarstan, the Tyubetei Tower, the project of building a medical rehabilitation center in Kazan, and others are among them.

Alexey Pesoshin, the prime minister of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Rustam Nigmatullin, the first deputy prime minister of the RT, Airat Nurutdinov, an assistant to the President of the RT, Irek Faizullin, the minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the RT, Talia Minullina, the head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, representatives ministries and departments of the republic attended the meeting.

The first to review was the project for the construction of the Tyubetei Tower. The investor is an entrepreneur from Perm. He noted that in recent years, Kazan has achieved outstanding results in the field of tourism development. The project “Tyubetei Tower” is designed to support this trend. The tower is planned to be located on the right bank of the Kazanka River near the Palace of Water Sports. The height of the structure will be 125 meters. The project involves the organization of an observation deck at a height of 95 meters and improvement of the adjacent territory with the construction of a theme park. According to the investor, Tubetei Tower will receive up to 500 thousand guests in a year. The project implementation period is estimated at 2.5 years.

Rustam Minnikhanov marked that in the future, the Tyubetei Tower will become an important symbol of Kazan and a significant place on the tourist map of the city. The President of the RT instructed Natalia Fishman, an assistant to the President of the RT, and the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the RT to organize an international competition for the design of the architectural appearance of the tower and the adjacent park. He also noted the need for public hearings on this project.

The second was the project on building a medical rehabilitation center in Kazan. The project aims to create a modern high-tech institution to provide medical services to the population to recover from injuries of the musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular diseases and neurological lesions, as well as to care for people of elder age. The goal of the project is to expand and introduce the second stage of patient recovery after surgery and undergoing resuscitation procedures. The new medical center assumes the provision of services through the CHI.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the republic is interested in the implementation of this project. He instructed the relevant ministries to assist the investor with the selection of the site and the connection of engineering networks.

R. Minnikhanov also got acquainted with the project of creating a medical industrial park on the basis of the international exhibition center “Kazan Expo”. The management company “FarmMedPolis of the RT” made such a proposal. Within the project, it is planned to organize an industrial park with the involvement of residents for the development and production of medical instruments and other related products.

R. Minnikhanov highly appreciated the prospects for creating a medical industrial park in the republic. He suggested carefully analyzing all the stages of the project implementation, paying particular attention to work with residents, reports the press service of the President of the RT.
