<p> More than 3 thousand participants will take part in the first Russia-Chinese forum “Seedlings” in Kazan on September 7 and 8. More than 50 regions of Russia have already registered, more than 20 countries have applied for participation, including South Africa, Turkey, Vietnam, Morocco, Iran, India and others. Taliya Minnullina, the head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, reported. </p> <p> She reminded that earlier, following a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, eight areas of strategic Russia-Chinese economic cooperation were identified - trade, logistics, finance, energy, deep processing of resources, technology, industrial cooperation and agriculture. The “Seedlings” forum can become a platform for the work of the Russian regions and Chinese provinces. </p> <p> “We suppose that due to its convenient location and developed infrastructure, Kazan will show good results in terms of business arrangements. Especially taking into account modern trends in the machine tool construction, as well as the technology sector,”- RIA Novosti quotes T. Minullina. </p> <p> The program of the event includes 42 business sessions in information technology, mechanical engineering, finance, transport, tourism, culture, healthcare, sports, education and investment. The participants will have an opportunity to visit two large exhibitions on metalworking, welding, machine tools and automotive industry, where more than 30 models of the Chinese automotive industry will be presented. </p> <p> Cultural events will also be part of the event. This is a performance by a Chinese-Russian acting group based on the work of Nobel Prize winner Mo Yan, a youth festival of Russian-Chinese friendship, a tournament on the Chinese ancient game of weiqi, a Chinese film festival and a chess tournament. </p> <p> “A regular match of the Kontinental Hockey League between Ak Bars and Kunlun Red Star (China), performances of masters of oriental and national martial arts, a Chinese tea ceremony are planned,”- the head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency said. </p>
