(KZN.RU, August 9). The upcoming weekend in Kazan will be full of sports and music events. Citizens and guests of the capital of Tatarstan are invited to join the Day of the Physical Culture, the festival “Kurban-fest” in the Gorky Park, and listen to the performances of brass bands at the festival “Kazan Fanfares”. Festival of brass bands “Kazan Fanfares”
August 10 from 9 am and August 11 from 10 am
The festival of brass bands “Kazan Fanfares” is held in the capital of Tatarstan. More than 700 musicians from 19 renowned orchestras of Russia, Kazakhstan and Bulgaria will represent their work on 8 sites. The main site of the festival is the Kazan Kremlin.
On August 10, from 9 am to 11 am, musicians will perform at the Kazan International Airport. From 9 am to 9 pm you can listen to the orchestra in the Cannon Courtyard of the Kazan Kremlin. From 11 am to 7 pm, the musicians will perform in the park “Krylya Sovetov”.
On August 11 from 10 am to 12 pm, the orchestras will perform in the parks Uritsky and “Chernoe Ozero”. From 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm, the musicians are scheduled to pass along Bauman Street. At 3.30 pm, they will march on 1 May Square. From 3.30 pm to 4.15 pm, they pass through the Kazan Kremlin. From 4.30 pm to 6 pm, the closing ceremony of the festival will be held in the square near the Kul Sharif Mosque.
On August 11, during the passage of the column, the traffic will be limited on the central streets of Kazan.

A festival of self-employed will be held in the Gorkinsky-Ometievsky forest of Kazan. More than 200 entrepreneurs will offer their products and services. 8 functional zones will be organized at the festival site: a market, a food court, an eco-market, a lecture hall, fitness, a nursery, and service and consultation zones.
Festival visitors will be able to take part in master classes, listen to lectures on ideas for a business, attracting investment, and why even the smallest business needs an SMM and a trademark. In addition, there will be workshops on the topics: “How to do everything and how to avoid burnout?”, “Event as a business”, “How to build the first business model?”, “Self-employed as a new ecosystem” and many others.
A children's area will be equipped. On August 11, there will be master classes on children's time management, German for children, the education of proper eating order in children and an open lesson in taekwondo.
Also, you could purchase handmade products at the sites. In the fitness zone, guests will be taught new exercises and could select a special training program. At the event, everyone could consult pension insurance specialists, psychologists and lawyers. Self-employed support center consultants will talk about the tax regime and help register as a self-employed.
Day of the Physical Culture

The Day of the Physical Culture in Kazan will be held at four sites: in the Gorky park, in the parking lot near the Water Sports Palace, in the Center of Beach Sports, and in the waters of Kazanka.
The main events will take place on the central platform in the Gorky Park. At 9.15 am, the citizens can take a zumba lessons, at 9.25 am, the young athletes will start their performances. At 9.40 am, everyone will be able to join the fitness. The event opening ceremony is scheduled for 10 am. There will be awarding of winners of the Spartakiad among students of general educational institutions of the city, as well as sports veterans, leading workers in the field of physical education, sports masters and sports schools students.
From 10 am, the following events will begin at the site in the park: the power sports festival, cybersports, the chess tournament, the Kazan breakdance championship, curling and the cheerleading festival. In addition, Pull/Push powerlifting competitions will take place for the first time in the city. At this time, the stadium “Trudovye Reservy” will host the final games of the Kazan Football Cup.
In the parking lot near the Palace of Water Sports, sporting events within the framework of the Day of Physical Culture will be held from 10 am to 2 pm. Kazan citizens will be able to show their skills in street basketball 3x3 “Orange Ball” and the yard game “King of the Square”.
From 9.30 am to 6 pm, beach volleyball, handball and football tournaments will be held at the Center of Beach Sports.
From 11 am to 3 pm, the competition of the participants of the city championship in sailing will take place in the waters of the Kazanka River.
Ak Bars Fans Race
August 10 at 11 am
The Race of fans of the hockey club “Ak Bars” will be held on the territory of the sports complex “Tulpar”. Everyone is invited to join the race.
Fans Race is a cross-country race with overcoming obstacles. The length of the route is 4.5 km, the distance for adults includes 15 tests. A separate distance with 5 obstacles for a mini-race is prepared for children.
You can apply for participation both individually and for a team of up to 10 people. All 10 participants pass the obstacle course together, instructors monitor the correctness of the tests. The team must come to the finish line in full force.
Family holiday “Rozhai, Kazan!”
August 10 at 1 pm
On August 10, a family holiday “Rozhai, Kazan!” (Rus. “Give birth, Kazan!”) will take place on the green lawn in the Gorky Kazan Park. The program includes yoga for pregnant women, lectures, and a thematic master class.
Guests of the holiday could consult with experts of the Pension Fund on the issues of obtaining and using maternity capital, as well as listen to lectures on family budget planning, types of pensions and the conditions for receiving them, rules for calculating insurance pensions, and planning expenses for newborns and older children.
Attractions for children, a photo zone, and a face painting zone will work at the site. There you can ride a bike, do express makeup, attend yoga for pregnant women and various thematic master classes for children and their parents. A cover band performance is planned at the festival.
Health Day on Kremlin Embankment

The annual Health Day will be held on the central avenue of the Kremlin embankment. Young and adult citizens are invited to take part in sports competitions, contests and master classes.
A puppet show on Boulevard “Belye Tsvety”
August 10 at 6 pm
On the Boulevard “Belye Tsvety”, Moscow street theater “Balaganchik Skazok” will show three tales. “Road stone” tells the story of the bogatyrs who choose their path of life. “Crane Feathers” is a Japanese folk tale that tells of a greedy and presumptuous merchant, two weak old men in a mountain village, and a good girl. And the third tale “About the faithful servant” tells about the king from distant India, about the wise Raj and his three sons. The performance will be with live music.
The performance will take place opposite the coffee shop “Uragan-Saray”, the admission is free. The schedule may change due to weather and technical circumstances.
An open-air photographs exhibition “Fotosushka”

On the territory of the Kremlin embankment, there will be an open-air photographs exhibition “Fotosushka” once again. Both professional photographers and amateurs will show their work to citizens. “Fotosushka” will open with an open-air disco on the embankment.
Free drawing classes

Everyone can join the project “Draw, Kazan” and master the most common genres of painting. Classes are held on the Kremlin embankment. Master class in drawing for children will take place this Sunday.
Holiday “Kurban-fest”

Gorky Park will host a family event dedicated to Eid al-Adha.
The program of the event “Kurban-fest” will include sports relay races, neuro fencing games, the attraction “Knights”, arm wrestling competitions, as well as family and children's master classes in drawing ebru, painting gingerbread cookies in the Tatar style, painting clay toys, making leather ichigi, knitting a scarf, henna painting, making trinkets, badges and sweets. Sports and dance weekend on the Kremlin embankment

Saturday afternoon on the Kremlin embankment will begin at 8 am with yoga on the pier. Then at 11 am, a CrossFit training session will be held at the workout ground. The evening will traditionally be devoted to dancing. At 6 pm, you can learn West Coast Swing movements on the site next to the workout ground, and salsa and bachata at 8 pm.
On Sunday at 6 pm, a hustle dance lesson will take place next to the workout ground. From 7 pm, Lindy-hop will take place in the gazebo on the Alley of Arts, and tango from 8 pm next to the workout ground.
