Gaet-namaz in honor of Eid al-Fitr in Kazan mosques will begin at 7 am

The main site of the holiday will be the Galeevskaya Mosque.

(KZN.RU, June 3). On June 4, Muslims will celebrate the holiday of Eid al-Fitr. On this day, all the rural and urban mosques of the RT will hold gaet-namaz, and the festive events will be organized for children. The main site of the holiday in Kazan will be the Galeevskaya Mosque.

By the decision of the Muslim Religious Board of the RT, Eid al-Fitr sermons for major cities of Tatarstan are scheduled for 6.30 am, festive gaet-namaz is at 7 am. Thus, at 6.30 am, a sermon will begin in the Galeevskaya Mosque of Kazan with the participation of Kamil khazrat Samigullin, the mufti of Tatarstan. After that at 7 am Muslims will make a festive namaz led by the mufti, and guests will be treated with pancakes.

In the Yardam mosque, events on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr will begin at 5.30 am with a reading of the Holy Quran. Then the dua is scheduled. At 6.30 am, a festive vagaz will take place, and gaet-namaz at 7 am. Festive vagaz in the Yardam mosque will be conducted with sign-interpretation, reports the press service of the mosque.

Public transport with routes passing through mosques will begin work at 5 am to take believers to the places of celebrating one of the most important Islamic holidays.

On the day of Eid al-Fitr, the family holiday “Ramazan Fest” will be held in the Gorky Park. 

The Eid al-Fitr is a non-working holiday in Tatarstan.

In the mosques of rural settlements, the festive gaet-namaz will take place 30 minutes after the sun rises or according to the decision of the parishioners.
