About 11 thousand people have registered to participate in the Kazan Forum

The Forum will take place in the capital of Tatarstan on May 14-19

About 11,000 people from 79 countries have registered to participate in the international economic forum “Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum”. This was announced by the head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minnullina.

Official delegations and business communities are expected from Egypt, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Libya, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Representatives of 80 Russian regions will also attend the forum.

“To date, we have almost 11 thousand registered participants, and we understand that this is not the limit. Registration is open until May 6, so we still expect a large increase in the number of participants in recent days. Presently, 79 countries have registered,”- Taliya Minullina noted.

The international event, which has federal status since 2023, will be held in the capital of the republic of Tatarstan on May 14-19.

The International Economic Forum of Russia and the OIC countries has been held in the capital of Tatarstan since 2009. The Forum is a platform for strengthening trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural ties between Russia and the countries of the community.
