The portal KZN.RU became the winner of the international competition “City in the Media Mirror”

<p> (KZN.RU, February 20). The official portal of the Kazan City Hall KZN.RU is recognized as one of the winners of the VII International Competition “City in the Media Mirror”, organized by the International Assembly of Capitals and Major Cities of the CIS. </p> <p> </p> <p> The competition is aimed at increasing the role of the media in covering various life aspects of cities located in the CIS countries. The team of KZN.RU won the first place in the nomination “National Consent, Mutual Culture Enrichment” and the third place in the nomination “Eurasia: Interaction Experience”. There were other areas in the professional competition: “Safe City, Smart City”, “Municipal Management: Practice of Good Deeds”, “Donor Giving Life”, and “Making the Image of the City”. </p> <p> </p> <p> The topic of intercultural interaction is important. It is shown by significant events regularly held in the city, including with the participation of visitors from other regions and countries. These are the World Cup, the Tatar holiday Sabantuy, the festival of Spanish culture “Window to Spain”, the Hangzhou gastronomic festival “Hangzhou Gourmet”, and many others. </p> <p> </p> <p> The number of participants in the VII International Competition “City in the Media Mirror” was a record one. Thus, representatives of 37 cities of Russia, the CIS, and the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika, and 51 mass media sent their works. In total, the organizing committee received more than 450 journalistic, photo and video materials of media representatives. </p>
