An assistant to the President of the RT will tell the citizens about the preservation of the cultural heritage of Tatarstan

The thematic lecture of Olesya Baltusova will touch upon the questions of monument protection and will tell about the “Tom Sawyer Fest”.

(KZN.RU, July 3). On July 5, a lecture “Heritage in the XXI century. The balance of development and conservation” will take place in Kazan at the Center for Contemporary Culture “Smena”. Olesya Baltusova, an assistant to the President of the RT, will give it. The lecture was prepared within the framework of the project “Kazan through the eyes of an engineer”.

At the meeting, the speaker will introduce the participants to the historical heritage of the city and tell about its functions in the 21st century, what it serves for in the present and what meanings it conveys from the past. In addition, the guests will learn how the Kazan monuments that were handed over for restoration to investors have changed, what is the “Tom Sawyer Fest”, and how this event helps to restore and preserve the historical architecture of the city in proper condition.

The lecture will be held on July 5 at 7.30 pm in CCC “Smena” at Shahidi Street, №7. The participation in the event is free, but registration by reference is required.
