“Catwalk of mature beauty” in Kazan: eco-clothes and fashion show of 50+ models

<p> “Catwalk of mature beauty” finished the IV international charity forum “Good Kazan”, which was held in the capital of Tatarstan. 40 residents of Kazan acted like real models, among them were members of the city project “A cheerful person”. Fashion show of 50 + models took place the night before at the cultural center “Moskovsky”. The youngest participant of the fashion show was 52-year-old Valeria Vorontsova, the oldest model was 82-year-old Nina Bystryakova. </p> <p> The vigorous aged models came to the catwalk under the spotlight with radiant smiles and a hip swaying walk. During the week, professionals from the fashion industry taught future models to walk properly with upright carriage and not be afraid of the spectators. Unlike the usual fashion show, the “Catwalk of mature beauty” focuses not only on the clothes, but on 50 + models. “The models differ in age and appearance, but all of them are united by a zest for life - said the founder of the project Anastasia Lazibnaya. – We are not aiming at making the participants professional models, but we want to show that the style of the senior generation is changing very quickly, and today grandparents are cheerful and active people”. </p> <p> The project has been held for the second time in Kazan. Applications for participation in the fashion show were submitted by more than 80 women and men, but only 40 of them were qualified. </p> <p> The most mature model was Nina Bystryakova. In her 82, she continues to wear heeled shoes– a woman must always remain a woman, noted Nina Bystryakova. “During the preparation for the fashion show, the easiest thing for me was to be in heels. I wear heels all my life, I even throw garbage out in shoes and with colored lips”, - Nina Bystryakova laughs. </p> <p>  A total of 6 brands were presented at the show, as well as eco-clothes - fashion looks were made up of vintage clothes. “We misbehaved a bit and performed a show dedicated to a “good” fashion. We want to show an attitude of care towards nature and the idea that clothes can get a second wind”, - explained Anastasia Lazibnaya. </p> <p> “This project gives an opportunity to senior people to express themselves and charge the emotions. The participants are happy, they have a furious energy, I am glad that the forum ends on such a note”, - said Marat Ismagilov, director of ANO “Good Kazan”. </p> <p> For information, the International charity forum “Good Kazan” was held in Kazan on December 2-3. The forum was held under the auspices of the mayor's office of Kazan and ANO “Good Kazan”, with the support of the Presidential grants Fund. The forum was attended by 500 experts from Russia, Spain, France and Israel. </p> <p> <br> </p>
